About Us

easyschoolbooks.ie  was founded by secondary school teacher Maura Donohoe in August 2010.  It was her wish to create an easy to use schoolbook site.  Already a veteran in the area of schoolbooks having opened her retail shop 'Gort School Supplies' in August 2004, Maura realised the need for parents without access to a local school bookshop, to be able to go on line and source their school materials quickly and easily.

With the endless, selfless, help and advice of of   Damien Mulley   'Mulley Comminications' and Dave Kelly of 'Ambientage' at  GMIT Business Innovation Centre,  easyschoolbooks.ie has evolved.

There is nothing 'busy' about this site. It is clean and simple and easy to use. No unwanted advertising or links... No clicking onto schoolbooklists to find nothing there... If you know what books you require simply search for  them and put them in your basket :)

Our aim is to take the frustration out of sourcing schoolbooks & supplies... as the mother of  two  herself,  Maura realises that  parents today are doing  their very best in increasingly difficult times.  All products have an automatic 5% discount and all schoolbooks are covered for free.
