Deepak Chopra in his book ‘Synchro Destiny’ tells us that ‘Miracles happen everyday...They bubble up from their hidden source, surround us with opportunities and disappear...We can chose to notice or ignore them, unaware that our destinies may hang in the balance...the question is, would you recognise a miracle if you saw one?’ Many people survive a traumatic life event not recognising, like myself, that perhaps somewhere in that event a ‘Greater Plan’ is unfolding...
In the early hours of a cold January morning 2005, I met my fate in a head on collision with a lorry. Miracle no.1 the lorry driver survived unscathed, Miracle no. 2 I was still alive.

‘A hammer to a crunchy’ was how my consultant Mr. Aiden Devitt described my worst injury... He and I were to begin a long and harrowing journey together. We’re still travellers!! I’d a smashed leg and no prospects of walking anytime soon. ..Fast forward through many operations, many complications and a ton of intensive physiotherapy at the hands of one of the most impressive women I have known, Aileen Sheehan.
I had begun a small school supplies business with my husband Sean six months before the accident. I was a bit frantic between that and the fact that we had two small children under four to be looked after as well. I needn’t have been so panicked ‘Cometh the hour cometh the man’ so the saying goes, and Sean moved heaven and earth to keep the show on the road.

Aileen was my physiotherapist twice a week for over two years. And my friend. She had been a founder member of 'Galway Executive Skillnet.' This is a galway based business support group for women. Overtime she encouraged me to contact them ...and so I joined.
The first course I did was ‘Blogging for Business’ with a another real life miracle that is Damien Mulley.
easyschoolbooks.ie was born. I decided if we were to do this I wanted a ‘blog’ built right into the middle of our home page. Dave Kelly genius, innovator and owner of ‘Ambient Age’ at GMIT Innovation Centre, took us on and built exactly that! He has worked his patience and magic endlessly on our site...I thank God for you Dave more than you will ever know.
This is my first ‘blog,’ that was my journey, it has been peppered all along the way with the ‘shooting stars’ who’ve appeared here. As for you, well you are all involved now! Synchro Destiny? The choreography of daily miraculous events :)
